If the F250 is properly equipped there is no mechanical/physical difference between the F250 and F350 SRW. The ratings are only changed to save on registration costs.

That being said, there is such a small price difference between the F250 and F350 SRW that you should buy the F350 for sure.

I think the F250 with the camper package is about the same as the F350, but I reached the same conclusion you did.

We have a properly matched combination of 1/2 ton & 5er. We should, we spent well over a year looking, researching & figuring to match a 5th wheel to our truck. Almost went with a 28sgs but ultimately decide it was to much for our iddy biddy 150. Our HD Ecoboost and 26sab is the cats meow. We downsized from pulling a 31 ft TT and couldn't be happier. We're well under all weights and do not have to skimp on what we take with us. Regardless of what the so called experts say, it can be done if you know what your doing.

One guy that knows what he's doing......

Kudos to you for doing your homework. Too many non HD 1/2 ton owners don't.

That's the way to do it! The money for nothing and the chicks for free.
I checked the specs on both and you saved 300 lbs of pin weight. The 28SGS would have been just within specs on the HD Payload option.
