Hi not sure, if I am posting this in right section. I like to ask about my axles, on my trailer I do have 6000 # Lippert axle some kind of easy lube system. Did anybody know, if the brake part and hubs are the same as for dexter, alko axles ? I was thinking to upgrade to disc brake and was wondering, if this Kodiak made kit will fit to on them. Or anybody know where is possible to get brake parts for Lippert axles out side the company. Don't see anybody to list brake parts for Lippert made axle.
THX milos

Hello milosusa - hearty welcome to irv2.com. Wish I could help you with your question but my axles are Alko and I found replacement parts locally here in Texas for mine. Good luck in your search and again welcome.

Here's the link to Lippert's website. They have product manuals available online.

Look on the axles for a metal tag identifying the manufacturer of the axles. Lippert uses several axle brands dependent on what the trailer's OEM specifies.

Like Richard said, Lippert does not manufacture axles. The RV manufacturer buys axles from outside vendors, two are Dexter, and Alko-Kober. You may buy parts directly from those two companies. Zieman/Lippert is also an outside vendor to the trailer industry.
If you are going to replace the electric brakes, replacing the entire backing plate pre-assembled with brakes is the cheapest option in the long run.
EZ lube axles_ I have them and will never use them. You must remove the axle bearings annually anyway to properly inspect them. Why not clean, inspect and re-pack? This type bearing should be inspected using this method every 12 months/12K miles, per both of those axle manufacturer's recommendation.
