Are you looking for the 120 volt panel and circuit breakers , or the 12 volt fuse panel?

Typically power cord makes connection just inside of rig then goes directly to AC Power Panel---DC Dist Panel
That panel will have a small slotted opening with a fan.....panel usually located in kitchen area or close by.
Very often the panel is Brown
Left side will have Main Circuit Breaker and individual branch circuit breakers
Right side will have DC Fuses for individual feeds plus battery cable connections
Now if you have a on board generator you probably have a transfer switch
Power cord and generator output both would go to the 'switch' (12x12 box) and output would go to AC Power Panel
Transfer switch would most likely be in basement compartment on/near back wall
If you have a 'false wall' it can be hiding behind it.

#OLD-BISCUIT & SKIP426 - This is Jim, after staying 24hrs at the camp part the 50amp power pedestal circuit breaker tripped. I reset breaker and it kept tripping. I have a surge guard power protector that showed NO FAULT. We had both air conditners on, hot water heater, ceiling fan, 1200 norcold refrigerator and 2800 watt magnum inventor running. After the last trip I started the onan 5500 LP Generator and turned on the front air conditner. The 20amp generator ciruit breaker tripped. Checking with a multimeter I may have a short red wire connecting to the 50 amp breaker at the inside power box. My question being: is there a junction box that connects the generator power wires and the fifthwheel shore power wire together before going to the inside power box? I also have three solor panels on the roof. The generator 20 amp circuit breaker may be bad. Am going to replace with new one just to see. I cannot find the short if I have one.

Ok , if I understand your post , the generator C/B didn't trip till you fired up the front A/C unit. Was that A/C unit the only load or was the fridge and water heater sill set for 110v operation?

YES..........GEnerator output and AC Shore Power Cord BOTH go to the "ATS" (Auto Transfer Switch) and then ATS out goes to Main AC Power Panel (like I first mentioned)
ATS could be in basement behind a panel/false wall
ATS could be right behind AC Power Panel
ATS most likely about halfway between gen (up front) and AC Power Cord plug (in rear)
Like I said earlier

#SKIP426 - The GEN C/B Tripped 30MIN after running the front AC, Fridge, Water Heater. The Gen 20AMP C/B Trips all the time now with NO LOAD.

#OLD-BISCUIT/SKIP426: Thanks to both you. You have given me alot to think about. I store the RV on a storage lot. I will try and find the transfer switch tomorrow. Will be in touch with what I find.
You are correct it will indeed be a SCAVENGER HUNT

I do wish I'd heard about this problem in March , when I was south .
I installed a residential fridge in a Carriage 5er, with the factory LP gen set . We could both have gone on the scavenger hunts and shared notes.
EDIT : BTW, for what it's worth , the 20 amp breaker may have been ok with the A/C and the fridge , I'm thinking that having the water heater on, too , caused the over load and possible wiring damage.

#OLD-BISCUIT/SKIP426: I have found the transfer switch. It was the problem. It had overheated and burned wires.
The manufacture of the IOTA Engineering model number ITS-50R no longer makes this switch. I did some research online about problems with this switch overheating. I noticed that there are several manufactures that make these switches. Do you recommend one that I could use in place of?

I haven't had to replace an ATS, so can't comment on a good manufacturer.
Maybe you'll have to post that question to the " RV Systems & Tech " forum.
