Location of WaterPur

We have a 2012 Wildcat 302RL fifth wheel. We cannot find the water filter cartridge. Can anyone let us know where it is? We have called dealer and Forest River. No luck so far in getting an answer.

You do not have to use the waterpur filter. For one thing it cost too much.Go to Walmart,Lowes or Home Depot and you can find a replacement. It will cost a lot less, can't remember the model number.

I quit using those filters a few yrs back, they seem to restrict water pressure. My water pressure when in parks that do not have good pressure is much better.

TeeHee, thought that's what u meant

I too had fun finding mine...
had to crawl up into the curb side basement door,
open an access door to the underbelly,
glance around in there to find it...

but each mfg, each year, each model, can be different - good luck !

riverc - good idea - going to go see if I can find a spare @ wally world...

I found mine behind the panel inside the storage compartment close to the city water valve. Best of luck.

Sorry folks, but we finally talked to Forest River and they informed us that our model does not have a water filter. In fact, all new models do not have one any more. They stopped putting them in their RVs, he told us. Or maybe they stopped putting them in the Wildcat model, not sure. Thanks for your responses.
