Looking for a new fiver with some requirements

After 14 years my wife and I are entertaining the idea of finally trading in our Cedar Creek fiver for a new one. There are a few things that we want to improve. Looking for suggestions of models to look at. There are so many brands and floorplans, I know we'll miss "the one" probably otherwise. So I am looking for some suggestions based on some of these very basic wants off the bat.

Fifth wheel
2 bedrooms- master up front and a kids rear bunk room or side slide out
outdoor kitchen area
would be nice to have at least a 1/2 bath in the rear for the kids
floor plan that can be walked for the most part when the slides are in. (drives me nts that you can not even enter some rigs past the front door unless you push a slide out)

Have looked at the Forest River Sandpiper 381 rblok floor plan and it works well.

Are there any other people think we should look at?

My brother had a Champagne Edition Cedar Creek. He used some champagne to launch it towards a new owner. Had more problems than you could even imagine. He ordered a New Horizons 5th wheel and it hasn't been completed yet. Look at their models and be prepared for a little sticker shock but know that you are definitely upgrading to a very superior rig. May also need a new TV.

Many fivers can't be used with the slides in. Ours has the bathroom accessible, and one door of the refrig, ha, ha. We really didn't see many the were useful at all with the slides in.

Check out the entire Forest River line of 5th wheels. I know of some models that would meet your needs such as a Sandpiper unit and a Rockwood model to name a few. Grand Design is another manufacture who sells Bunk House models that may work.

Most of the units now a days have an Island kitchen which prevents the ability to walk in the unit with the slide in. You might want to look at a wide body unit which might have what you want.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. It is hard to search every manufacturer and find out which ones worked well for larger families. I may try and get over to Hershey for the fall show which pretty much has every line on display. Going to be building a pole barn soon with an attached lean-to for the Fifth Wheel to roll under. I could not see giving up so much interior space, but being under a shelter is the next best thing.

I own a 2018, Sandpiper, 383RBLOK and love it! I've had it out many times, and have yet to have an issue. (Knock on cheap paneling) Floor-plan is great for us. I'd recommend it. Like all others... the AC units are noisy. A lot of people complain that their unit won't stay cool enough. Ours again, has not disappointed us.

It almost sounds like you need a toy hauler, using the garage as the bunk room, one with fulltime reefer access. Otherwise the selection is slim for additional 1/2 baths.

We have a 2016 Sandpiper 376BHOK. It has a rear bunk house, outdoor kitchen, etc. You cant really access the living area with slides in, but can access the front bathroom and master bed room.

Only complaint that we have is with the inadequate Air Conditioner. I did manage to fix that by adding a third AC. Now we can maintain 70* in 95* weather with no problem.
