That EC-30 sure looks like the way to go, despite being twice the price. Probably worth it to not need to worry about running a bunch of wires...

The ags-s is easy to install. It would not replace your inverter remote. But be an additional panel. I could never justify spending that much more for plug and play, over doing it myself.

And the wiring to the generator looks to be quite easy. I watched the YT video on installing the Cummins Plug and Play and the harness they sell for $75 looks like all it does is connect the two signals in parallel(one from the Cummins and the other fromt the Start-Stop switches. So it looks like you could run the cable from the AGS-S to any of the Start-Stop switches, you don't have to go to the gen...

Either one is easy to install. But I have a thing about spending more than 2X the money. Took about 3 month to find a AGS-S on EBAY. $120 including shipping.
The EC-30 does have some nice features with the remote.
