I HAVE USED RENEW 3000 AND MILD POLISHING COMPOUND WITH LIMITED SUCCESS. ANY GOOD WORKING SOLUTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

First welcome to the forum. Is the skin fiberglass or something else? Depending on the type of skin, you might be able to find a wax that is specific to the type of skin. If it's fiberglass, there are a lot of marine waxes that might do the job.

Welcome aboard. Just an FYI, it's considered to be rude and yelling when you type in all caps.

After the polishing compound treatment try applying a good quality wax, I like Nu Finish, using a power polisher. Followed by a hand buffing, That should bring back the finish as much as you are going to get.
BTW to remove black streaks I use Protect All and it generally does a good job.

Meguiar's makes a Fiberglass Heavy Duty Cleaner that is best used with a power polisher @ about 2500 rpm. It is like a fine compound but made for Gelcoat. After that follow with a good fiberglass polish to restore natural oils to the fiberglass and follow with a good wax. The last two steps can be done by hand with very good results. I've tried Renew 3000 and got very splotchy finish afterwards. Meguiar's fixed itup.

I prefer Meguiar's over anything else. They have a complete kit SPECIALTY KITS: FIBERGLASS RESTORATION SYSTEM: Meguiar's Marine/RV here.
