Montana High Country

I have a 2013 Montana High Country Model 343RL. The seals on the top of all four slides looks as though the rubber has been melted. When I extended the slides some of the rubber stuck to the slides. You know the answer from Keystone. I need to replace the seals but not what comes from Keystone; any ideas? Also I lost the satellite input to my rear TV. Any idea where the splitter is located?

You can get seals ordered through dealerships, they are in the parts catalogs, or you can buy the online, but you do need to match how they install. Can't tell you about the splitter.

After you replace the seals, wipe them down talcum powder on a cloth occasionally to prevent them from sticking again to the side.

Do you leave your trailer with the slides out, say at a seasonal CG? If so, they can stick to the slide roofs from tree sap or other air borne contaminants. Also - while up there, look at the tape at the side oanel to roof joint. You may find that it has partially peeled away and the seal is sticking to the goo left and a fix I need to do with some Eternabond on our 343RL in the spring. Talcum powder, as suggested, or .303 Protectant will work. Thetford (and probably Camco too) also makes a slide seal lubehttp://www.amazon.com/Thetford-32778-Rubber-Seal-Lubricant/dp/B000NJ6EZ8
