More news on 24' Rockwood fifth wheel

A good friend with non RV experience wants my advice on purchasing a well maintained 24" 2004 Rockwood 5th wheel. She has one advertised here locally and wants my opinion on it. (She has my old 2002 ext.cab GMC 4X4 with a 5.3 liter V/8)

I have 20+ years RVing experience but it's limited only to a Travelaire and my current 2010 Cougar 5th.

Any comments, good or bad would be appreciated,

Thanks,

Jeff

Strictly my opinion, but I would think that with a seven+ year old unit, it would be more about how well it has been kept up than the original manufacturer.

That has a lot to do with it and this one has been well looked after as far as updates and modifications. I like the torsion axle it has but worry about the roof and wall sealing and the original appliances that it came with. Off to view it tomorrow.

Thanks,

Jeff
