The site cut off what I was saying the tool box goes in the hole left by folding steps. When you use either the Lippert or Moryde solid step. Made by Moryde all mounting hardware included . Lists for $212. Got on Amazon for $151 free shipping no tax.

I just added one to our 5er. The hardest part of the job was removing a couple bolts on the OEM steps. I also change the lock from a wat too common CH751 to a 5/8 (16mm) version from Home Depot that has a different key number. I also upgraded the supplied Gr2 bolts to Gr8 - they were supposed to be Gr5, but had no 3 line head markings. Watch Amazon. I paid $142 but saw it a week after my purchase for $5 less
