28 hr

This is a holiday rambler 28 ft. I want to move the bed so that the head will be in the slide out. I think I could put some kind of rail system for it to slide.

The foot of a bed in a slide typically rides on wide rollers on the floor, so that will support some of the weight. If you put storage under the bed, however, I would be very careful not to put anything very heavy in there.

If you replace your bed with a closet won't you get tired of sleeping standing up, besides the covers will keep falling down.

Of course not... don't be silly... you just sleep laying actross the bed from side to side at the foot of the bed
