Welcome to the forum.
Sure, there are many configurations that work in many situations. All will not likely work in all. Many of us don't put all our eggs in one basket.
We travel with a couple different cell carriers. Recently the unlimited OnStar (ATT) in our TV Infotainment unit has been working well in many areas. It's had a couple logistic issues to overcome.
There are routers or extenders that will accept direct input from MiFi sticks / Jetpacks.
An added layer of NAT or custom configurable LAN can make your security housekeeping more manageable. As can merging existing WiFi (when available) and Cellular with a shotgun approach.
Verizon will likely try to fix you up with a model that does not use an external antenna. Some of the Jetpacks will. It's often advantageous to have an elevated external antenna to use in fringe areas. Although you can accomplish this with a signal booster / amp sometimes the placement of the internal and external transmitters can cause RF feedback issues. You'll want to make arrangements for cable routing etc. as you continue to research your options.
This forum (which is searchable) has a lot of info.. Don't let only the burned hand learn best.
Be well.

There are several YouTube full time bloggers who depend on internet for their business who have figured it out. Technomadia is one of them. You can watch their videos or even contact them for help. I suspect you will want to have at least a primary and back up system. Technomadia | Adventures in Nomadic Serendipity

I got my verizon jet pack today, so im guessing all i need now is a universal modem correct?
Im also guessing that i cant use my old centurylink modem as a generic modem since i dont have their service anymore, im guessing its proprietary.
Can anyone recommend a modem that works well with the verizon jetpack.

The Jetpack is the modem. Also the router and can provide between 5-10 connections to WIFI devices.
Do you want a extra external router for more control, or to hardwire in devices etc?
I use a Pepwave Surf SOHO with a Verizon 6620L tethering via USB. Works pretty well, we have I think 13 devices on it, most hardwired.
