Yeah, I'll say the same about mine but a friend that has a 2004 Dodge had about the same issue with his, had about 57k miles on his and it lost a piston, had to have a new engine put in. Again, about 12k that I know of. Enough to scare ya. Thats why I won't own one without having a warranty, at least It gives me something to fight with then.

Folks, let's not allow this to become a brand war - we don't do those here at iRV2.

The fact of the matter is that some variations of the Duramax as well as the 6.0L Powerstroke have been afflicted with injector problems as well. That's why I said that all of the Big 3 have had their day in the box on this matter.
