What, is that thing armor plated, and rocket proof?

I agree, one heck of a pick up truck to pull it...

Must be a tank with no tracks he's towing. Not bad for a old ford.

I was looking at the tow charts and I see F250 for 1992 with a 7.3 (I'm guessing thats a 460 cui). It shows a tow limit of 10000 lbs. I'm, guessing that your not pulling an empty trailer. Add another 1500 lbs of "stuff" at least and I would be guessing you've exceeded you tow capacity. Even though it might feel comfortable, you will always be "close" to the edge. If I was travelling around with my family I wouldn't pull with your truck. We had an older F 350 when we bought our 5er and I upgraded to a newer super duty just so I wouldn't be pushing the envelope. I've attached the towing info I was looking at, hope it helps:
YearMakeModelEngineTow Limit1992FordF-250 HD 4 x 47.5 V-810000Requires 4.10:1 axle ratio, automatic transmission and Trailer Towing/Camper Package or Super Engine Cooling with Handling Package. Maximum tow limit with manual transmission is 8500 lbs. SuperCab tow limit is 8100 lbs. (manual). Maximum tow rating for fifth-wheel trailer is 11,400 lbs. (7.3 V-8 Diesel) and 12,500 lbs. (7.5 V-8) with automatic transmission; 8500 lbs. (7.3 V-8 Diesel) and 10,800 lbs. (7.5 V-8) with manual transmission.

The 460 is the 7.5 Gas motor.
