The FL's are a knocked out floorplan, and it's one of those trailers that gets people talking at RV shows.

But that model Big Horn is especially nose heavy. You will need to tow with a 1 ton diesel with dual wheels--nothing less. In fact, most Big Horn models really need duals for safety sake.

new 5th wheel

We pull our Voltage with a Diesel 2010 Dodge 3500 dulley and have had no problem...the Big Horn is about 2K lbs lighter...so figure we won't have a problem pulling the new unit...what do you think about getting a tripod for the tongue?

We tried a tripod a few years ago and couldn't tell any difference. I added Plug-It-Rite stabilizers and it was better, but when I got the hydraulic levelers, it's the BEST!! Are you getting them on your Bighorn? You'll never go back if you get them.

Yes the unit comes with the Hydraulic leveler system...that was one of the things that sold us on it...the ease of set up...getting excited
