Finally did it.
Put deposit down on new 35 5z.
Waited 17 years with Forest river product.
And i have a Ram 17 DWR.373 gears with Aisin.
Got sweet deal.

Congratulations! We purchased an AF 32-5m in April this year and are full timing in it. Great fifth wheels...built like a tank and no issues so far. You'll be very happy with your choice I hope.

We have had our new AF 29-5T 5th for a whole 9 days now. Had a drip leak every 20 seconds or so that had not been caught by the dealer. So I think to myself "I can fix that!". Well I have hands the size of a picnic ham, so this was not my finest hour. I had to unhook all the water hoses from the hot and cold manifolds to reach the weeper. So there I am all cramped up in the storage area and managed to convert a weeper leak every 20 seconds to a shower in the storage area. And me in there without any soap either, and Lord knows I needed a shower by then.
I may have to take it back to the dealer and have someone fix it for me. I hope I learn when not to do things myself one day.

I can make any 30 minute job into an full weekend affair before taking the unit to the RV repair store. LOL

Bad news then kinda good news.

I bought from Nelsons as well.

I have nothing against CW but anytime a place is bought things change.

Good luck with the new AF. We just traded our 2017 29-5T for a new RiverStone 39FL. We needed more room for full time. Great bunch of folks on the NW Owners forum.

We have a 2015 model and really like it.

Bought the exact same truck 2 months ago, handles really well in the mountains out here. We'll be adding a 60 gallon bed tank soon.
