New Carriage owners

Are there any Carriage owners here? I'm not finding any groups or clubs for the new line. The former Carriage group won't accept us.

Welcome. The "new" Carriage is owned by Thor, but most don't think it's built as well, being it's Thor.
I think Lifestyle is the company started by many former Carriage employees.

Carriage went out of business after 40 years at which time all of its assets were auctioned off including the names "Carriage" and "Cameo". Thor bought those names and recently plastered them on an upgraded Crossroads Rushmore and calls it Carriage. They slapped the Cameo name on the similar Crossroads Cruiser line.
The association between Carriage/Cameo and Lifestyle is due to the fact that the two brands share the same frame and overall basic design.
Many of the former Carriage employees went to the new Lifestyle brand. The overall design right down to the in-house built box frame and slide-out racks built atop the frame are direct carry-over from the original Carriage line.
The new Carriage/Cameo fives have nothing in common with the former Carriage and new Lifestyle fivers.
I'm sure the Carriage/Lifestyle owners forum are not allowing the new Carriage/Cameo line to be a part of their club due to there being no similarities.

That is overly simplistic. There is no way the 8 inch I-beam and 5200 lb axles on my Cruiser could handle the weight of the Cameo. In fact a quick check of specs shows the Cameo uses a 10" or 12" frame and 7k lb axles. And there are probably many other differences. While no doubt the new Carriage and Cameo lines are dissimilar from the older models, they appear to be more than just a different name (with higher price) slapped on an inexpensive line.

We are 2006 Carriage Carri Lite Xtreme 5 owner. We have damage to our unit from a faulty roof replacement, which has caused water in our walls and ceiling. We need a front and back cap. If anyone know of where to get those, please let us know.
