New Forest River Wildcat Issues

Not a real rant. Bought a new 2014 Wildcat two weeks ago. Did a shakedown for two nights near home; no problems. Headed to VA and cold weather and furnace quit. Found a Forest River dealer that fit us in, and after six hours they were able to repair it. The shower valve is leaking but perhaps I can fix it. A piece of molding hangs up on the kitchen slide when it's closing. Not too bad for a new unit, and Dodd RV in Yorktown VA gets my kudos.

Your post points out that buying new doesn't mean no issues. Sadly, sometimes folks with more money than DIY skills think buying new avoids issues. Sounds like you are equipped to deal with problems as they come up, but do use your warranty to fix things as much as possible as long as possible.
