We are new to this forum and would like some feedback on the vent pipe under the bathroom sink of our 2013 Montana High Country 343rl. Water comes out of it from time to time (not a lot of water ) and we cannot figure out what is causing this. We have owned a 5th wheel for about 20 years and have never experienced anything like this. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to irv2.
The vent under your bathroom sink maybe defective or the tank vent may be plugged, you may have a friend for a visit or the vent cap has been pushed down blocking vent on roof.
Here are some items in links that may help.
Here is another link that may help links to RV Plumbing.
Enjoy the forums.

DaleandBecky,
There is probably a vent under the sink that looks something like the picture below. Chances are it is leaking.
There is a rubber disk valve inside the housing that lets air in, but is supposed to prevent water from getting out. We had a problem with a leaking vent, and I was able to pop the top off and clean the rubber valve and seat and stop the leak. If you don't want to bother trying to take it apart or if cleaning it doesn't work, new vents are available at Lowe's and Home Depot for around $6.

Thanks paz, yes it does look similar to the picture. I will try to take it apart and clean it. If I happen to break it in the process, then I will go buy one.

I have to think you have a restriction downstream from the valve that might be the problem--might think about that. We have 3 of these valves in out trailer and never had one leak water--if water is coming out of it, then it isn't flowing freely past it.

It's sounds like your vent may be partially blocked.
