Haven't recieved from RV consumers as of yet. looking at 2007 forest river products.-sierra, rockwood, and salem. Any views pro or con. I'm also interested in a starwood by McKenzie which I have never heard of. Dealer states they been around for 8-9 yrs. Reason for Forest River is floor plans. Thanks

I haven't owned anything from those manufacturers except for a Rockwood Pop-Up. I had 2 of them. Both were good. I know others that have Forest River rigs and they are very happy with them.

We like our 26bhss a lot. We've
had no complaints so far. Plan
to go camping this weekend.

Phil&Sandy:
We purchased a 07 Forestriver Flagstaff 8528gts last month, have taken it out twice and have had no problems. Really like the configuration and the construction. IMO for a light weight it has a lot to offer. We pulled a Prowler TT for the past 14 years before and although the Prowler seemed to be a little better in the construction/material area, our Flagstaff does the job very nicely.
Good luck in your search
Manny and Kathy

Our family had a Salem TT for a few years and found it to be a good quality/value for the price. The only problem we had was a natural gas odor that the dealer couldn't find. After several attempts we trader in for a Pilgrim 5th Wheel. But overall we were pleased with Forest River.

Forest River products are made in several different locations across the US. Therefore quality might differ from region to region. I know that they have a plant here in Oregon and it turns out a nice looking product for the money. I looked at them before I bought my Arctic Fox. Things I noticed were water tanks in the front of the rig either under dinettes or beds. When full these tanks add directly to the tounge wt. Other brands have put the fresh water tank in the underbelly over the axles. The overall fit and finish was equal to others in the same price range. Don't know how well they will last.
