New to forum

Hello all,

I am new as of today and do not even know if I am posting in the right place. I am interested in trading my current 5er in for a new 2009 Torrey Pine...The dealer is Ron Pott's of Johnstown, Ohio...I am close by in Sunbury, Ohio. I really like the look and feel of this 5er. The floorplan I am looking at (the only one they have on lot) is the 35KSLS with the full body paint. It is beautiful. I would love to know more about them. I have read the history of Newmar and I have been through some older models of some people who I have camped near. I know they are a quality product. I am also looking at the Cameo. Unfortunaltely, when I purchased my current 5er, I thought I would be happy. However, after having it for almost a year now, I am kicking myself for not getting want I really wanted (Higher end unit). Ron Pott's also has a 2009 Cypress 32RKSH with the "Diamond Package", that is very nice as well. All comments welcome. Thanks.

Welcome to iRV2. I can't help on the Newmar, but the people we know with them are generally pleased with the product.

Since you already are unhappy with your first purchase and have Rved for a bit, you know what you dislike about your current unit. So you can go with what you feel is the better way to go.

Ken

Welcome krazed5er to irv2.
Here is a LINK to Newmar 5er's will have 2010 models and information on construction of them on Newmar Difference link. The construction is basically the same for both MH's and 5er's.
What ever you decide will be a move up and good luck with your decision.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.

Welcome!
Assuming that model is loaded exactly evenly, the calculated pin weight will be 3,505# at GVW=18,450#(using figures from website). This pretty well rules out anything smaller than a class 4 truck for towing. You have selected an excellent full-timing 5er, congratulations!
