New to us 5er

Hello all,

The wife and I just bought a New to us fifth wheel.

2007 Keystone, Copper Canyon, 350 FWBHS 36'9"

Our plan for now is to leave it in the park it's in since we keep our boat there and go down there fishing quite a bit.

I would appreciate any and all suggestions and / or advice regarding best practices and such as it pertains to 5er's maintenance and up keep.

We are going down there tomorrow and staying our first weekend.

1st. Welcome
2nd. Nice view

Maintenance?
Clean And inspect the roof ( cleaning, lots of stuff about that around here). Check for any seals that are not perfect and repair with a sealant recommended for you roof.
Try everything over your stay and make sure it all works for now

Take some time to kick back, relax and enjoy that view!

Thanks, we went down this weekend and took a good friend with lots of experience with us. Did a thorough inspection of "Everything". Turns out everything is in great shape. We just had two very minor things like ....We replaced the drip line from the refrig, Put new batteries in the smoke detector. The rest of the weekend we took our boat out fishing and cooked fresh flounder, shrimp, oysters etc..

We are super satisfied with the condition of everything. The people we bought it from left a Weber gas grill and a Weber Charcoal Pit, Chairs, Dog Pen, All cleaning supplies, Chemical for Black Tanks, TV's and DVD Surround Sound, Nice plates and silverware, coffee cups etc... And more !

Can't wait to go back in a week or two !!

Wow! That lake in your pic doesn't look like it would support all that sea life! LOL!

It is stocked with Redfish and Catfish... But....The park is in Port O Connor TX and is a quarter of a mile from my boat which is a quarter mile from the Gulf of Mexico.
