new used 5th Terry Extreme

Hello to all

I guess i have been a member of Irv2 sense 2009 now that i looked
I do have to say that this site has been a great help in my understanding of the RV's and what to look for in them wile looking at used units ,

Wile i was first looking at D-Mh's i found i could only afford a pup tent lol ,
I'm going to ND for work in the patch so i now needed a place to live wile there ,

So i found and bought a 2000 Terry Extreme 5th wheel 4 season ,( not bad for 5k I think )

Wile its not new and has some issues on the out side ,
but i think it will serve my needs as it will never leave ND once there ( Temp housing ) , The inside looks good and only found a few light bulbs that are out ,
Furnace and air works well and the slides seal up nice with no light coming through at night looking from the outside ,

I Repacked the Wheel barrings wile i was up there and the brake pads looks like 3/4 left on all 4 wheels , for the trip to bring it home this week ,

List of things i know it needs so far is ;
round patch for small New Hole in rubber roof that i found size of a dime ,
looks like branch recently hit it ,
reseal the place where the rubber meets the glass ( preventive )

re attach a 2' piece if gasket for the side of a slide , Double sided tape ?

I also would like input on goosneck adapters , as i have the use of a short bed 2012 silverado HD 2500 to haul it up there with ,
so the question is do i need a offset adapter just to tow it as the kingpin is 16"/20" out front of the nose of the 5th ?
or can i get by with a straight adapter that we now have use of ,
No sharp backing in any where just to tow it ? trailer is 11k in weight i was told by seller

Thanks again for all of your past and future advice ,
as i know I will discover more things the longer i have it ,
