We are currently in a 2015 Solitude 305RE. While it does have a nice floor plan, the quality leaves much room for improvement. From the reading I have done on Grand Design trailers, the quality control is getting worse.

When buying this rig, I tried to buy an Artic Fox, as I felt the quality was superior to Grand Design. I was overruled by the Mrs.

As stated in the above posts, research on the forums related to the specific models you are looking at would be helpful.

BUY USED depreciation is your enemy.
Artic Fox is the highest rated of what you listed. Need three acs in Houston unless you have a true 4 season rig. We have 3 and with proper window coverings survive on 2. Good to have the spare for when one hoes down.

Do not buy tow rig. Easy to get someone to move for you. When you get in rv park you will meet plenty of people that will move your rig for a low fee. Have meet several people that live like you.

Good luck finding half acre in close to Houston.
