Older 5th Wheels

Hi,
I am interested in any info. relating to older 5thwhls 1985-1997.
22-25ft. long & under 4500 lbs. I am especially interested in what
you consider the top of the line. I also must avoid formaldehyde, so
type of insulation & paneling are a prime consideration, since foam
insulation & pressboard paneling were both used in some of the older
ones. This will be our only r.v.&we are 79&77 yrs. old limited income
& will be pulling with our '97 dodge cummins 4x4 2500 5spd. Hope to
do some travelling.

just to give you an idea of what we did. we bought an 87 coachman and are in the process of rebuilding it. we too are in our 70's with limited funds but good health and lots of ideas. it is about 20 ft and in fair shape except for water damage and neglect. we would like to tour all the light houses in Main and this unit will serve our needs. we have two corgis that will be traveling with us.
good luck finding what you need. Dan way up in Maine

4500lb is very light. Not much quality in that weight range. I tow a 12,000 lb gvw with a 2001 dodge 2500 auto. I love Alpenlite but they are foam insulation throughout.
