Older CP Products hitch installation

(Going to the iRV2 forum well ... this time for a friend.)

Anyhoo- my buddy (me Class A, he fifth wheel trailer!) just purchased a 1994 Dodge 2500 Cummings Diesel to replace his worn out Ford dually ... which he had used to pull his trailer.

I have never swapped out a fifth wheel gooseneck hitch ... but, having done a good bit of wrenching, fabricating, and product installations ... when he asked for my help, I said "Sure thing".

The issue is this: I can find no readily available information online about his "CP Products model Valley 7041" hitch yet alone mounting one to a 1994 Dodge P.U.!

Needing help here: he's working with a bridge maintenance company; looking to move to the next bridge; wanting to do so yesterday; and wanting me to accomplish this task- 'by hook and by crook, if need be' (I.E: apply mickey mouse attachment methods which I can possibly do (it's not a "no drill' situation) ... it's just something I would feel uncomfortable about doing.

What I'd really like is some Good Orderly Direction. Anyone?!?!

(I like this guy ... if anyone can help steer me in the right direction ... I swear I'll work longer and harder at contributing in earnest to the iRV2 Mission Statement!)

Any picture of it?

It might just be better to upgrade instead of "rigging" something up and risking everyone's life on the road.

Hey, thanks for your reply.

That's my thought, and since I can't seem to find answers. I will call my RV guy today. Oh: no pics.
