On ice

I have a Dometic Americana refrigerator in a 2003 Montana Fifth wheel. everthing in there is frozen. It has a plastic piece in the middle of the metal cooling part that you slide up and down with no dial to adjust. I move the piece up and down with same results. Does anybody know what the problem is ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

No one can know exactly what is wrong, but I can tell you what CAN be wrong. It needs to be tested.

Control board(s) bad, thermistor bad, heating element relay stuck.

Perhaps it is operating in backup mode? That is normally a constant run situation meant to keep contents cold until it is repaired.
