Talking Part 2 Complete!

It has been awhile since I last posted but we've been busy looking, researching and looking and researching some more for just which 5th wheel we wanted for our fulltiming RV adventuresome lifestyle. One that suited the safety specs of our truck and was big enough to live in but not so huge that we wouldn't want to bug out on occasion.

We finally came to our conclusion and purchased a 2015 Keystone Cougar 301SAB (bunkhouse with 1.5 bath). We have yet to take delivery of it but we have our PDI set up for next week.

We're getting the Reese slider hitch installed in our truck bed and soon we'll be owners of a full rig for adventure!

I will have to post again next week with photos of the completed process. I don't currently have any photos of the 5th wheel, or of the 5th wheel and truck together. However, I'm not real sure how to post photos in a thread.

We're so excited!!!

I would post a photo of the floor plan at least but again: I don't know how to post pictures in a thread.

Congrats on your purchase, we were a day too late on a 2014 301SAB, really liked the extra bath with the outside door on that one.

Thanks, Bar-OneRanch!

The extra bath and the second outside door were strong selling points for us as well. :-) We don't have kids but do have totally different sleeping habits; so, thus, the bunkhouse for just the two of us. I have fibro and good, uninterrupted sleep is a must. The hubby likes to sprawl out so I think he's getting the big bed in the front and we'll be installing a gel foam mattress in the bunk room for me.

Plus, it never seems to fail in our current home we both need the restroom at the same time...lol That will not be an issue in our new traveling home. :-)

Thank you :-) I hope it goes well too. Never been through one before and I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions.

Thank you We had our PDI but there was an issue with the 4-point auto leveling system so they are resolving that before we actually take possession of the 5er. Should get it early next week and will take pics then.

I can hardly wait to get it!!
