I will be taking delivery of a 38RL Trilogy on Saturday. I have my Max Tow 2014 Ram 3500 Laramie, and I am upgrading my hitch to a B&W Companion 25K that sits in my Factory Fifth wheel prep. I am questioning the need for a Surge Guard unit on the shore power, and where you tied in yours. I have Generator Prep on this coach, so the transfer switch and Generator breakers are already installed. It is factory with 8K axles and 215/75R17.5H tires that are specified at 125 psi. I can hardly wait to get this Beautiful coach. The full paint on the Trilogy units look so good.
I am going to pull off the 50 amp Surge Guard from my Keystone Alpine before I take it in to trade. Thanks for any info about placement. Kevin
