Pics From Moving Day!

We took delivery of our new Excel fifth wheel last week in Eugene, OR. It took a couple hours to move in from our old fiver. Here are a few pics:

Steve, congrats on your new Excel. You will enjoy it. What model and options did you choose?

Thanks Russell and JohnRR. The new one is a 2014 L34IKR and we're very happy with it. The main options were a Hydralift moto carrier, 8k axles with disc brakes, 4 point leveling, laminate floors in the living area and a residential refrigerator. I checked a lot of other boxes for options but these were the main ones.

I have to add that the whole purchase experience went about as well as it possibly could have. PI and Sutton RV treated us very well and the coach seems to have been assembled with care. Nothing this complex is ever perfect out of the gate but I am very pleased so far and the unit has exceeded my expectations.

Steve, your options are similar to what I chose for my Winslow 34IKE. We've had our for 17 months. Towed 15K miles. Love it.

I recently added Center Point Air Ride Suspension to the trailer. Email me for details. It makes the trailer less bouncy on rough roads.

Congrats on the new rig! I will leave my stuff in the floor of my garage next time instead of going from one unit to the other. We did just like you did, but then after bringing it home, OCD set in and we had to move everything again! Plus, it was KILLING me not to just hook it up and go for a spin while switching from one to the other! Great rig you have there!!

LOL! There is no perfect approach to it. We keep our rig at an annual campsite about 1.5 hours away from home so that complicated the move.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
