I think it would be worth a drive to the dealers if they have one to measure it yourself. If not ask your salesman to get the number form the factory.

When you set up your B&W what hole position did you use of the 3 choices. If I had the RV here at my home I could size it up and make the decision. Since your set up work fine I would like to know the hole position.

Thank you in advance.

Hey Denny,
Our B&W is set in the highest holes. I could lower it to the middle holes, but I like the bed rail clearance.

Pin height is 47"ish on most all campers. Fairly much a standard. LDTs bed doesn't stay the same height when loaded. The more load the lower it goes. That is unless you have air ride suspension. They use a leveling valve and adds air to compensate for the added weight. My Freightliner has air ride so 47" is what is set the top of my hitch at on truck. Simple. But with leaf springs and no air it gets very difficult to use this method. The bed height varies with load. One could add ballast to bed to equal pin weight but that is more trouble than just hooking up and check. You want the camper fairly level when towing and 7"ish bed side clearance. 5" will cause contact and may cause no damage. Too close for comfort. 7" is problem free.

Pin Dimension

On my B&W there is one more set of holes I can go up and I may since I added a TruxPort cover that has rails 1 1/2" above the bed rails. I'm at 5-6" now but would like another inch clearance.
Edit: now I've changed the signature and RV info again and hit save changes all to no avail.
