No, but depends on where the tank is

More weight in front of rv tires = more pin wgt
more weight in back of rv tires = less wgt... how much ?!?
depends - fill it up and try it at the scales

I have 4 holding tanks, so I would be curious too, but haven't taken the time to measure....

Hey Beerman47,

Where is your tank located?

If it's behind the trailer axles, (which most aren't), yes it will reduce pin weight.

If it's in front of trailer axles, (which most are), no, it will increase pin weight. By how much is determined by exactly where between the trailer axles and the pin it's placed.

Mine is approx. half way between the two and adds 400#'s to my pin weight when full. 100gal tank.

Regards, Hamshog
