I had a laredo and it is a low budget rv I personally would not want to stay in it long term, all of us have had some issues some small others big. I would look at used model's it boils down to your preferences and a good dealer or if you are handy. No rv that moves down the over time you will have some sort of problem.

Many of us purchased used. You can reach much higher up the quality ladder. Keep in mind, plan to invest time and money beyond the initial purchase price. Used RVs will always need some work. Compared to new, you are still are way ahead.

I prefer new but ~~ the floor plan you describe is exactly what we have in our 2016 Cougar 303 rls. The model is only available in dealer stock and surely there are some still out there. Should be able to find a deal on a 2016 model no longer offered especially since the 2017s are on the lots now. When we get home tomorrow we will have spent about 140 nights in it and towed about 5250 miles with no major issues.
No matter what you decide be sure to get the polar package as the added insulation works in both summer and winter to your advantage.
