Looking for ideas, I bought a 2006 3400RL Montana 5th wheel from a X friend. The last issue I can't seam to figure out is i have no DC power to operate the slides. I have a new battery and inverter all fuses are good and the slides operate with AC power looking for ideas of what of what could be wrong. The DC power works for other things like appliances.

Welcome to irv2. My electric slides required the engine to be running to assure over 13 v DC. I know yours doesn't have an engine but I'm thinking your battery is not up all the way when you try to operate them.

Does your rig have a battery disconnect switch if so check it make sure your batter is up to charge.

Up front very near the battery there should be a series of resettable breakers. 99% guarantee one of them has tripped. The button is very very small and almost impossible to find button. Push them in and power should be restored. To find them simply follow the + cable from the battery to the distribution bank.

So you're saying when plugged into 120VAC power, they work?
If so, your battery is not getting power to the slides. Tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse.

Also, you maybe got a new CONverter. Not inverter.

I just helped a friend work on that trouble with his Montana 5er, there were some posts that battery power was hooked to in the front compartment, they were automatic resetting ckt breakers, 2 posts approx. 2 1/2" wide X1 1/2" tall. His would trip and reset on there own but the manual one trips and you have to reset by pushing alittle button back in. Like yours it worked fine when hooked up to shore power but not when running off the battery power. He had to replace his, cost was about $7.50. His were rated 50 amp.

did these look like lago blocks?

They are a rectangle with two threaded posts sticking out of them, wire to them.

Yes, I guess they could look like a lago block. I was out of town and just saw your post, but the other answer was right on the money! With these RV's a volt/ohm meter seems to be the most used tool in my tool box! I think your on the right track.
