Anyone heard of a Prairie Schooner fifth wheel? Im searching for a used fifth wheel and am pretty new to the different makes and Quality.

Ive Had Lance Cabover campers which are very high quality and well made so Im looking for a well built quality fifth wheel .

I am in the west Calif and travel Idaho etc.

Whats the scoop on a Prairie Schooner? Quality or a low quality unit.

Thanks rick

I would rate it as average. It is made by Gulf Stream. I think the older units are probably built better than the current ones today. This is probably true for all manufacturers.

I looked at Prarie Schnoorer's and was gona buy one untill I saw the Sunnybrook Titian.
I heard the P S was a heavy unit and the I believe that the Sunnybrook is much better made.
Unfortunitly there are not a lot of used Sunnybrooks around..Go to therer owners site Sunnybrooktalk.com or ther site Sunnybrookrv.com/ Its a really great unit for the price

Depending on the geography, the RV can be marketed as a Sunnybrook or a Mobile Scout - not to be confused with Mobile Suites, which are built by DoubleTree RV.

My father in law has a 04 PS. His seems to be well built and has a really good looking interior. No problems with it with about 12k miles on it.
