hi again! we need to find out how to change from one propane tank to the next when one tank is empty. our regulator is a grand hall 6020. also, does anybody know if this is one of the grand hall regulators that is being recalled? we are completely new to this, in fact, our new (used) fifth-wheel hasn't had it's first trip yet! but, we are very excited to be taking it for a trip next week. anyway, thanks, in advance for any help. blessings, starwarsfan (cheryl)

I could not find anything on a Grand Hall regulator. There is some Grand Hall gas grills that have a recall.

There should be an automatic change over valve connected to the tanks before the gas line that goes to the regulator. To use it, keep both tank valves open.

When the tank indicator vial turns red the pointer is pointing toward the empty tank. I'll flip my pointer to the full one and then fill the empty tank.

Why not keep the info and impress him with the knowledge when you disuss it with him and show how it works.

you gave me a great laugh for the day! i like the way your mind works and will try that out sometime. it never hurts to make an impression, especially when i might need to use it for something. and it would be nice to leave him guessing about how i can't figure out running water but i have an answer that he hadn't thought of! thanks! starwarsfan
