Just to be devils advocate-I have to say "buy what you like." We bought a weekend model trailer, and full timed in it for 2 years. Then we parked it for one year, and it's back out and has been full timing for 6 more months so far. I will admit that it has had it's share of issue (but from what I'm reading, 300k motorohomes have had more problems than my 20k travel trailer) but none of them left us stranded on the side of the road, or required much time for repairs. We aren't four seasons rated-and have spent summers in Texas, and winters in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Anything can be made to work if you want it to. Look for the most appealing layout, think about storage, and just be ready to modify it to fit your own personal needs.
