I need some input about the quality of the
Wilderness 5th wheels. Looking at buying a new unit.

Thank you
Ken

Fellow here in our park has one --- for sale ($37.000) as he purchased a mobile home in the park. Front living room -- about 37' long (my guess)... He mentioned two problems with it -- the pantry baskets would all fall to the bottom of the closet when traveling -- he braced the walls to the closet and fixed that problem. I've been scratching my head to remember the 2nd problem, but can't --- it was something like the pantry problem and had the same fix.

He liked the quality, the unit is under 1 yr old.

He has towed it back to Michigan as he could not sell it here.

Not much help, but wanted to respond to your question.

I had a 1998 Wilderness 5er for 4 years. I think it was a very well constructed unit. It towed very well.

I only had 2 problems with it over those two years. One was a door that I broke and the other was that the water pump was mounted too low and couldn't get a sunction.

I own a 2004 Wilderness Advantage A X 6 model 345RLTS. Have had it since Nov 2003. Very nice well built unit. No problems so far other than a few small, at walk-thru. Dealer repaired all, and we have really enjoyed it since.
