radio replacement

i am interested in replacing the radio in my fleetwood pioneer.the radio head that is in the trailer is a voyager awm900 i would like to relace it with a kenwood or a sony unit.the problem is the mounting hole is so large that it is difficult to find an adapter to cover the hole and to fit a standard size automotive head unit.has anyone encountered this problem, how did you solve it? the hole size is9 3/8 wide and 6 1/8 tall.any help at all would be appreciated

Sounds like a double din size? If it is, then places like Crutchfield will have dozens in the double din size for you to choose from.

Alpine makes a really nice double DIN head unit that also plays DVD on a built in pop up screen. The latest model is around 1200.00 but search the shops for model IVA203W I saw some on clear out for about 350.00
