Ran across a deal on a Moryde pinbox, is it worth fooling with?

I ran into a fellow who changed out the Moryde pin box on his Pinacle fifth wheel for a gooseneck. It's the right part number for my 42 foot Bighorn, only pulled with to deliver the camper to the dealer and is $350.00. I know that's half the cost of a new one but will it make enough difference in pulling my camper to be worth changing.

If it is the Air Ride hitch that is a great buy not so if it is just a regular pin box

It's the rubber pinbox.

The Moryde will stop a lot of chucking. I have one with an air ride fifth wheel , best of both worlds.

I have it and the ride is very nice. Worth it for half of retail price.

I definitely think its worth it.....period! The price ofr one that new and the ride improvement. It will improve the fore/aft movement your truck for a better ride.
The next best thing you can do it get some brand of air hitch in the bed of the truck. Improves the comfort for truck occupants and will be much gentler on the RV pin box and chin area.

I replaced my MoRyde pin box after 6 years of full timing and installed a Trailair pin box with a air bag. The air bag is even a better pin box upgrade in my experience.

This is the only 24k rated pin box that fit our trailer.

MORryde - it takes out the chucking. I had one for 6.5 years and it was great.

removing the chucking it might. but cushioning the ride on the pin box area or frame of the 5ver it does not.
