Rear Entertainment System

Looking to understand why persons choose the Rear Entertainment floorplans.

When I am going to watch the TV, I do not want to be sitting at an angle to view the TV.
When the TV can be lowered out of the way so that you have a rear window view, then I see that asset/advantage.
Is there something that I am missing?

Thankfully, there are 100s of floorplans so that all of us can be satisfied.

Ahh - we chose it as someone working in the kitchen or sitting at the dinning table can see it. We have moveable recliners and pull them out to watch from them. One can lay on the couch to watch it also. Works perfectly for us.

Some rear living plans have a couch that looks directly at the tv which is mounted on the back wall.

In our S&B the main gathering place during a party is the around the kitchen island. With a rear living the kitchen and rear living room is one big room making the coach seem larger.

If you're a big time tv watcher then it may be a PITA. If you only watch a little tv then like Walt Bennett you can just move a chair. The cool thing about some REs is that the tv may go up and down, giving you a nice view out the back.
The other nice feature of an RE is that you have two slides that have nice windows in them. With RL normally the tv takes up the window on the curb or street side.

Wife and I looked at 100's of floor plans of different Makes and Models. We decided no matter what other configuration the 5th wheel had it had to have a rear entertainment floor plan. We liked the fact that we are able to sit beside each other in front of the TV and able to view the TV and be part of the conversation while in the kitchen area as well.

Our sitting arrangement is that I sit next to the wall. This way she does not walk in front of the TV when she gets up. She gets up way more than I do. We typically don't watch TV until late in the evening anyways.

I know, not all Rear Entertainments floor plans has theater seating in front of the TV, but that why we choose the one we did.
