reception on TV

have a 2nd hand 09 big horn/heartland. TV channels in LR only get 4/5 channels, B/R TV gets 21 channels. is the red amplifier for only B/R & that's why we don't get all the channels on LR tv?
Or should we get the same channels that B/R has?

Once you turn on the amplifier then you need to take your remote and go into whatever that lets you program the TV. On ours it's "home", on others it may be "menu". Then make sure that TV is set on "antenna" rather than cable, and then there should be something to the effect of "auto scan" Ours says it will take 55 minutes but it is really only 5-10 minutes depending on how many channels it picks up. You need to do this everytime you change locations. I would do the same for the other TV as you may get even more channels. When trying to set up cable reception do the same thing except turn the antenna amplifier off, and select "cable" as the channel/reception choice.

The red button amplifies antennae signals for over the air reception. The signal should be the same at both TV's. Perhaps you need to rescan the TV channels, we need to do it each time we relocate.

If you are referring to cable channels then the amplifier button needs to be off and again rescan each time you connect to a new cable service.

Also each TV will have differing reception results unless they are both identical models. In our last BH we got more channels on the LR set than the BR.

Unless I miss my guess he gets all that. The air antenna should be connected to both TVs. Someone in the distant pass probably messed with the cabling and disconnected the LR TV or the splitter has gone bad. Those connections are usually behind the basement wall or in/behind the entertainment center cabinet

Yep. Some TVs have better tuners than others. Same problem in our rig. BR TV picks up less channels than LR TV. This after doing the channel scans.
