We have been our new Redwood 36RL for a month now and absolutely love it. We are full timers and traded in a KZ Montego Bay 34RLB3. This home is quite an improvement.

Great to know you are enjoying your Redwood. We have really enjoyed our 2013 Redwood 36RL since purchasing last Oct.

Can you verify this estimate of sales numbers? Just curious, didn't know it was in such high production.

Last week end we were at the factory during the Redwood rally. They said that so far they've built around 3500 trailers and they can't keep up with the demand. After seeing some of the up coming changes in the 2014's their demand will increase. They're really listening to what the owners want

We have a 2013 36RL. We just lost all 12v power in the bathroom. The lights and max fan quit working. 120v ok. Fuse OK. When fuse pulled, fan chirps and light on fan control flashes. Leonard @ Redwood didn't have a clue. Any ideas out there??

My first thought is to check the 12 VDC at the wall switch on the bathroom wall with a digital volt meter. There should be 12 VDC on the "hot" side of the switch. If not then the connections at the fuse panel will need to be tested. There could be a loose connection at the fuse panel. I am a retired EE so am comfortable making these test. If you are not comfortable making these checks/tests, contacting your dealer could be the next step.

Hope this helps.
Bob

I agree with RCAircraft. But the other thing I would do is disconnect the fan & lights & then reconnect each one, one at a time & see which one causes your still chirps when you install the fuse. May be the fan control is suppose to chirp when power is reconnected.

Well, no "new Carriage" any time soon............or ever, now.

Apparently, the driving force (Tom Montague) for the new Carriage has been sent packing from Redwood. Rumor has it that the new Carriage hasn't been built...........let alone designed.

We have a 2012 36RL and have been living in it for approx. 8 months. We were in a 2011 Allegro Bus and love our 5er over the Allegro Bus.

Yep! Emahiser, one of the of people responsible for the demise of Carriage is gone, as well. As soon as he left, the Carriage logo was removed from the Redwood website and replaced with the Rushmore logo. Phillip

If you want a "NEW Carriage", look at the new Lifestyle Luxury RVs. They are really nice and much better built than the Rewood.

LIFESTYLE Luxury RV

Maybe we will have a new to us Lifestyle in a few years...when some used ones hit the market.

Why wait when you can buy a left over 2013 Luxury Lifestyle for about $70k?

Really like ours. Toured DRV, Redwood and Lifestyle factories. It came down to the Lifestyle and DRV in the end for quality and frameworks. We full time so solidity of the RV was one of the deciding factors.

Drillking, You are right on. We got rid of our junk redwood through litigation and ordered a Lifestyle.
