Question Refrigerator

Is an 8 cu ft refrigerator large enough to hold grocery for 2 people for at least a week?

Try using a 6cu ft refer for 4 people for 9 days. Having only 2 people with an 8 cuft refer for 2 less days should be a piece of cake!

Agreed. The biggest issue will be the gallon of milk (if you're a milk drinker) and trying to have orange juice, etc. to go with it in the refrigerator part, but should be fine for two.

The half gallons fit in the door just fine.

Refrigerator

Ours is slightly bigger at 10 ft but works well for us. We do however have a free standing ice maker and that frees up space in the freezer. I just keep a small ziplock of ice in the freezer section. We are full timers.

2 of us have traveled in, (lived in), in our coach with a 7.5 cu. ft. refrigerator for 3-4 months each winter for 13 years,
We restock the fridge whenever necessary...(just like we do when we're at home).

Smaller refrigerator keeps you from 'accumulating' unneeded items inside. (-:

We live with a 7.5 c.f. fridge, 1/2 the year, while cruising the east coast. There are times we don't touch land for a week. Supermarket trips are usually long bike rides.

The DW is amazing at stacking and we have never ran out of anything between shopping stops.

We lived in a trailer with a 6 CU refrigerator for 6 weeks last summer while our 5th wheel was being repaired. Two of us did fine.

What about the beer?

This could be a major issue.
