Removing kitchen drawer

We have a Cougar XLite 5th wheel.

I am unable to remove the kitchen drawers to retrieve a pad of paper that has fell behind them.

Is there some "trick" to removing the sliding drawers?

the method varies. Some drawers pull them out to full extension, lift up on the front of the drawer and pull. Once you see the mechanism, it will be easy to reinstall. You basically put one wheel behind the other and push the drawer back in.

Others you pull the drawer to full extension and there are tabs that you either pull, push or slide forward or backward.

Those are the two methods I am familiar with.

On mine, when it stops, I just have to pull a little harder and they come out.

Our drawer slides have levers that unlock the slide to remove the drawer. Pull the drawer out as far as it will go and look at the side of each slide for a small pointed metal lever. One side goes up, the other side goes down and the drawer slides out of the rails. Putting it back is easy, just align the rails and push the drawer in without touching the levers. Slight resistance as the levers engage, and the drawer is in.
