We had two Lazy-Boy recliners for years at our mountain cabin. When we sold that place, we brought them home and put them in our family room which is constant use. When the wife wanted theater type seating in the family room we moved them to the living room to replace some non-reclining chairs. When we discovered how uncomfortable the recliners in the fiver were, we swapped them to the fiver. We spend more time in the fiver than we do our living room so it seemed reasonable.

We replaced the heavy bulky recliners in our Big Country with the Euro style recliners with ottomans and are so much easier to move to close the slide outs......

I like the idea of the Euro style for me but husband wants conventional. Thank you everyone for all the advice.

We removed our Recliners and put a Lane Theater Seating unit in from a local furniture store, much more comfortable and durable.

How does lane compare to la-z-boy? We do need two swivel recliner rockers.

BTW. La-z-boy backs are meant to come of for ease of moving. Maybe the tabs were not returned to the lock position.

We bought 2 la-z-boys and gave away the std issue recliner and are as happy as can be. Thanks for all the advice.
