Okay, here are a few snaps I just took. Sorry about the temporary satellite cable running to the TV, I know it looks horrible, but I was already spending enough time on the roof in freezing weather.

That looks really nice. What flooring product did you use? From the pictures, it looks like it is really hardwood. Were the slides a pain? Our slides have carpet that hangs out 4 inches past the wooden slide floor ) =

That was some Bruce Brazillian cherry engineered product the client bought from Lowes. I have found that you can add wood to the slide by doing some study as to how everything works. The moulding is a stair nose.

Slide

Ernie
What type slide mechanism do you have (glides or rollers). I have slides in mine. My main front slide lifts up a little then it slides in. Just curious what type you have.

This slide is like yours. It is for a client. My coach has no slides.

My slides are the same as the one you worked on. I really thought about doing an overhang for the wood as it wouldn't be too impossible to put in. My concern was that we still walk in that room, with the slide in, while traveling.

Either way, you did a great job. I'm sure I'm not ready to install for others, this was a giant pain for us (mostly ripping out the factory product, and what the previous owners put on top of that)

I caution my clients that they must be careful when the slide is in to stay off the trim
