Nope...a manufacturer can no longer compete in the residential refrigerator market without an inverter driven, variable speed compressor. Check it out. Anything bigger than 13 or 14 cuft or so operates that way. Energy Star has made energy consumption a consumer feature, especially when they convert it to $$$$, right on the yellow sticker.

If you are looking for a RR for an RV, A refrigerator with a digital inverter compressor consumes up to 46.9% less energy than a single-speed induction motor compressor. Samsung does make a lot of them...and they put all kinds of manufacturers labels on their units.
