Rieco Titan Ground Control Jack

Hello Everyone,
We have a 2010 Montana and had wheel and tire come off a couple weeks ago. Before we left I checked the torque on the wheels 120ft lbs. I never heard a thing or saw anything until we stopped and I noticed the fifth wheel leaning. I got out and saw that that my rear driver side wheel and tire were gone and damage to the slide and sheet metal also my leveling jack was bent. Of course the wheels are not made anymore and neither is the leveling jack. The jack is the real problem replacing it is a Rieco Titan Ground Control 88021 jack. I called Rieco Titan and they sold the rights to Lippert. So I called Lippert and they don't know if I can use a Ground Control system 3 jack or not. The wiring might not be the same. My system is a manual leveling off a remote and not a one touch. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this in the past.
Thanks

Sorry for your troubles. I had that system on a Big Horn and liked it. A quick search on the internet yielded this link. It appears to be the correct product but you apparently have to buy two.

I've a 2010 Montana as well, but it's never had anything by Rieco on it. The original front leveling jacks were Lippert, but I've replaced them with two motor Bulldog ones. As for your tires, were they the original ones? If so, they were way overdue for replacement, especially if they were Marathons. My wheels were made by Tredit, and, yes, that model isn't made any more. Tredit only makes ones with more standard valve stems vs. the old inside mount ones. Tredit does make wheels that will fit correctly though. You could get by with only replacing two on one side vs. all four.

Rieco Titan Jack

Hello Walt Bennett,
The tires were replaced last season with Goodyear. I believe they were G 614.
Tredit is where the new wheels are ordered from by the repair shop.
Thanks

Well, you might try these folks. They have the entire kit. Perhaps they would part it out?

While we owned the Big Horn we had a problem with one of the front Rieco Titan jacks. I called Rieco Titan and they told me the same thing that they told you, that they sold the rights to Lippert and could do nothing for us. So I called Lippert and was told that they don't support the old style and could do nothing for us. I called Rieco Titan back and politely explained that I bought their product in good faith and expected some support after the sale. They had me send my jack back to Rieco Titan and they repaired it under warranty, no charge.
While Rieco Titan sold the rights to the name they apparently failed to get a comitment from Lippert to support the old product. You might call Rieco Titan back and politely explain that there is no one that can sell you a replacement and the system you bought, with their name on it, is now unusable. Perhaps they have enough parts laying around to repair what you have left. Good luck.
