Roof Coatings Kool Seal vs Liquid Rubber

I was reading another thread in here.

What do any of you suggest for a coating for the rubber roof.

Mine is 10 years old "no leaks" Thank God and I hosed it off today. It appears to be in good shape yet. It did not appear overly brittle, but I do think I should throw a coat on it as we will be taking it to a very wet state soon, and it has spent all its life in Dry Southern CA.

I really like the Kool seal but i have a sheet aluminum roof. I'd do a seach here on the site for rubber roof coatings. I remember some one saying you must use something that is for rubber roofs.

I sure wouldn't put anything like that over a rubber roof membrane.

My '97 28' 5er with a rubber roof has had nothing but lap sealent refreshed in a few spots twice in all those years. We average 40" of rain a year here. I check the roof twice a year. No leaks and no issues.
Contact your rubber roof manufacturer for their recommendations on treating their material.
